What is God's Job?

One day a king called all his ministers & asked, “Everyone has some work, the doctor looks after patients, teacher teaches, gardener looks after the garden, what is Gods job?”

There is a lot of discussion, but the King is not satisfied. Finally the King gives the head minister 2 days time to come up with a satisfactory answer.

The worried minister goes  & sits in a field at the end of the second day. 

A shepherd boy sees him & enquires about the cause of his worry. The minister is reluctant to discuss. The shepherd says, “At least share because sharing will make u feel lighter.”

The minister tells him what the king wants to know. The shepherd says, “Is that all! Tell the King the shepherd boy knows the answer.”

The next day, the minster returns & tells the king that the shepherd boy knows the answer.

The king is very surprised & calls the shepherd boy.

The shepherd boy says, “You have asked a question & I am giving you the reply. To gain knowledge from me, my seat has to be higher than your seat.”

King looks around & there is no seat higher than his. He asks the boy how much time he needs to give a reply. The boy says 5mins.

The king vacates his seat & gives it to the shepherd boy. The shepherd boy sits on the throne & starts enjoying it.

The king waits in front of him & there is no reply coming.

As the minutes tick by, the king starts getting impatient. At the end of the 4^th minute he asked the boy to give a reply;

The boy replied with a smile, “Gods job is to raise up the humble & bring down the egoistic”.
